Lauren McPhillips is the writer + photographer behind This Renegade Love, a Toronto-based blog that encourages readers to build a badass life for themselves through honest content on blogging + branding, travel, wellness, giving back and entrepreneurship.

Following a 10-year career in editorial at Style at Home magazine and then as the PR & Brand Partnerships manager for travel brand Contiki, Lauren left the corporate world behind to launch This Renegade Love and create a new career path for herself. Two years in, and she’s worked on campaigns with Smashbox, Google, Indigo, Starbucks, Porter Airlines and CIBC to name a few. As a self-proclaimed ‘champion for authenticity’, Lauren has built her loyal following online through her no-holds barred approach to content creation, with the belief that it’s better to be relatable than aspirational.
